A bold assumption. I dislike ritual of any sort but that based or religious myth, most of all.

I find it abhorrent that human beings spend so much time, effort and resources on constructed ceremony and ritual that, in reality, is simply artificial and conditioned behavior, while certainly millions and probably billions struggle to survive.

I wonder just how much difference we could make to the lives of those who must drink polluted water, scavenge on rubbish dumps for food, or suffer preventable ill health because there is either no medical aid available or, if there is, they can't afford to avail themselves of it.

Humanity needs to wake up to itself and instead of engaging in self indulgent nonsense of supposed importance but actually of none, devote its time, energy, intellect and resources to bring about an equitable life for all.
