Antonia, thank you for your understanding and compassion.

Writing of my experience was cathartic but also emotional and I had to stop. There was much more I could have added. However as my comment was lengthy, perhaps to stop was for the best. Indeed, I wondered if I had broken an unwritten taboo or something when I read other comments and noticed that most were applauded, making my own stand out for the wrong reasons.

I would like to add one thing that I had meant to say but didn't because of my premature emotional exit: it is that I sincerely hope that what you posit in the last sentence of your post does eventuate, for then no others will have to suffer the emotional, psychological and/or physical trauma that so many have had to face because of misplaced notions of what constitutes, health, beauty, fitness, endeavour, strength, determination, and more.
