I don't know Dan Bacon and don't mean to demean him. However, I don't consider there to be any such entity as a "dating and relationship expert'. To me, it as faux as "life coach".

Indeed, I find it sad that there are increasingly what are no more than self-styled designations of expertise that has little if any evidence to support it.

This phenomenon, in my view, is one of the symptoms of a society which, with increasing rapidity, becomes more and more materialistic and less and less composed of well-rounded, emotionally mature and competent individuals, capable of critical thought and empathetic understanding.

It is sad.
