People are people. Human beings have many shapes and forms and a wide variety of conditioning, not least that most unfortunate form of it, religion.

The 'Bible' is just a book of the words of human beings and any examination of it will show that it is so inconsistent, contradictory and savage as to make no coherent sense. Indeed, that Christianity references the Bible when it really references only the New Testament, is evidence of its hypocrisy and human origins.

There is no deity and there is no 'love' in the sense that you portray it.

Even now, you show a complete failure to understand your wife and choose to write what is clearly an attempt to promote justification and even praise for your own inadequacy and failure to use your own intellect.

Pap such as this must be called out.

As for yourself - I do not know you nor why, unless as seems highly probably it is because of your conditioning to a false code, it may be that your view is conditioned ignorance or, at the other extreme, a deliberately constructed personal narrative of vindication. It doesn't matter for it changes nothing.

However, what you have written, sadly, evokes the false and superficial empathy or those who also fail to use their intellect and who, predominantly, know no more of what is written in the Bible than the selective quotes dispersed ad infinitum by Sunday Schools, Priests and the disgusting, self anointed and materialist confidence trickster lay-preachers.

This sort of writing is puerile and dangerous. I suggest that you cease to do it.
