I once thought that 1Password was, indeed, the best password manager. I left it behind a couple of years ago after all manner of issues. I now use enpass and have it found it easily as good, if not better, and as I prefer to support open source developers and, because I'm on a low & limited income, keep my costs low, the fact that there is no cost is a super bonus.
