I think that you will quite likely be proved right. I know that many will be tired of reading such posts and I apologise to anyone who feels they've had enough.

My feeling, however, is that whatever small hope there is of changing things, I have to give it a go.

Yes, I'm just a nobody. However, perhaps some will read what I have to say and actually, perhaps, learn something that they didn't realise. That is one of the reasons I include figures - though I do accept that they can be mistrusted or disregarded.

I am a chronic depressive so I find it hard to keep up 'hope', indeed I no longer put any stock by words such as 'hope' and 'love' - my view is that the words have become bereft of real meaning.

However, all I can do voice what I feel and will that it encourages others to do the same so that, just perhaps, vain a notion as it is, some of those who do have say or power or influence, may decide that enough is enough and that they will adopt some moral responsibility and put a stop to this perfidy.
