If you don't know "any thing about Elon Musk" then that's perhaps why "Twitter", (which of course is now X) is the 'best' social media platform you use. Do you actually use any others?

Before Musk took over, Twitter had already degenerated to the extent that simplistic notions and personal abuse, as well as massive amounts of misinformation and disinformation had become ubiquitous.

Apart from that being a bad thing in itself, it also meant that even responsible users were often subject to trolling and increasingly, 'blocking' was becoming a feature.

Instead of a 'social' media platform, Twitter had become very much more akin to an angry and aggressive mob shouting puerile insults at one another and rocks at anyone making sense or telling the truth.

After Musk took over, it became even worse. It is now worse than the worst of schoolyards at the worst of times.
