I'm sorry to say it and don't wish to offend you or anyone but that is bunkum.

There are pros and cons for both electric and gas powered stoves - as there are for most things.

Gas supply can fail just as can electricity supply and when it does, it is often with much more catastrophic results.

Open fire is always a danger and gas fumes are invisible and toxic - one doesn't have to touch them to suffer a fatal result.

The *reality* is that this has nothing to do with the gas stove v the electric stove. They each have benefits & each have failings.

This, as are almost all things today, is about money, profit in particular, as well as the anti-climate emergency lobby & simple-minded who think that all that 'Greenie stuff' is a hoax.

No, there is no hoax but there is deliberate obfuscation and misinformation being peddled by the fossil fuel and non clean energy producers and providers. This is all about that - the power of well-financed lobby groups, working on behalf of an obsolescent industry, to save profits for those who care not one jot about the future world conditions which our children and grandchildren will inherit, if they survive at all.
