Is it really an article in the vein of "we must find fault with Apple by writing BS"? I don't think so.
In my view, your comment is patronising & unnecessarily rude. You could easily have written: "The M1 and M1 Pro are two different processors & performance differences - hence the difference in battery life" or something similar.
There is no neeed for the "Or does M1 and M1 Pro not register with you?" or the claim made in y our last sentence that this author is "writing BS" as part of what undeniably exists, people who seem to delight in writing generally unintelligent, uninformed and generally poorly expressed and abusive criticisms of Apple products.
It would seem to me that as this author is clearly an Apple afficianado and one of considerable experience & knowledge who uses Apple computers constantly, it is highly unlikely that he would belong to the grouping you suggest - it would make no sense.
