Jehova's Witnesses are a cult rather than a religion. They long ago moved away from their founder's beliefs and, (just as do all religions, being universally the creations of human beings), continually change their code, rules, aims or methods of operation.

Incidentally, according to their founder, the World was supposed to end in 1873 so I guess we all live in some imaginary form of existence.
