Labels in this type of context are rarely disinterested. 'Sherlocking' as is 'Windoze' is a biased characterisation that is undeserved.

With only minimal effort, anyone reasonably computer literate and with even relatively basic search skills, can find the evidence that shows this.

Apple, even before the Mac, was a company that sought close integration of hardware and software in order to ensure a high level of quality and security control, as well as an uncluttered, consistent and logical user interface.

In addition, contrary to the tediously repetitive misinformed claims of its products being over-priced, from the outset it has offered high inclusivity of both hardware and software components that have meant purchasers being able to use their computers right out of the box.

In comparison, Apple competitors, have long charged extra for even the most basic and necessary applications, such as word processors or spreadsheets and even if providing an OEM OS with initial purchase, charged exorbitantly for upgrades which Apple has always provided free of charge.

I appreciate the detail in your article and consider it well written and substantially correct. I don't mean to suggest that it is flawed in fact or improperly intentioned. I simply think that there is a whole other side that may not be so clear to readers as it might usefully be.

Take care. Stay safe. ☮️
