No wars
World peace
Green energy
No pollution
No starvation
Yes, it sounds idyllic.
Given that the pain, suffering, neglect and etc. of so many in our world causes me to live with continual thoughts of suicide, to avoid people, to have neither friends nor family other than my Groenendael, and to walk him during the dark hours so that we have little chance of meeting anyone, others could be excused for expecting that I'd agree with your conclusion and welcome the parasite.
I wouldn't.
I wouldn't because, despite so much indicating the contrary, I believe that humans are capable of creating a world such as is expressed by those 5 indicators - and doing it without exchanging their humanity for the ultimate autocracy.
Human beings have the ability to think for themselves, create beauty, innovate to solve problems, be compassionate, show empathy, care for the disadvantaged and live in harmony.
Unfortunately, we tend to think, they can also do the opposite.
However would we appreciate what is commonly seen as the good if we were unaware of what is commonly seen as bad?
Would we really prefer to live as, in effect, automatons without the ability to make choices between negative and positive options or, perhaps, not even have any concept of negative options?
Would that really ever be possible, given that positive and negative go together, like ying and yang?
My suspicion is that it would be a life without feeling. So, as much as the injustices and hurt give me night-mares and mental dysfunction and suicidal tendencies, I would rather see us learn to share and care better and to create systems that do not allow autocracy/monarchy/dictatorship and etc.
Most of the wrong in our world, in my view, is an outcome of narcissism, megalomania, selfishness and power. It needn't be that way ...
Humanity can choose to live differently. We don't need to sacrifice identity or knowledge, we simply need to recognise and prevent what allows the inequity and insanity that comes from parasites that already exist and control us.
