Not really, mate. There is a substantial difference between education and schooling. Unfortunately, the two are often conflated in such a way that schooling is portrayed as education.

Schooling is predominantly about socialisaton. In other words, training chlldren to fit into the society in which they live. A not unusual characteristic of schooling is that it focuses more on, (correct), answers and summative tests that supposedly indicate something - basically, just that you can answer the questions in the way the examiner requires.

Education is a about learning. It is about questions, rather than answers. It is about personal and social growth and development of critical thinking, an open mind, inquiry, possibility, collection, analysis, and assessment of evidence and recognition of how much we don't know, rather than how much we do or think we do.
