Of course, we can't know as none of us can predict the future or actions of other people with certainty. However, there must be a very high probability - almost 100% probability in my view, (it would be interesting to see if there are any accessible statistics on this issue), that as you imply, the non-infamous, poor, non-white, uninfluential citizens would *not* get away with 10 breaches of a Judges order.

In fairness to the judge - he does find himself between a rock and a hard place. He has to be o be scrupulously fair in his conduct of proceedings and yet cannot be. If he jails Trump, it is likely that 'all hell' will break loose. If he doesn't jail Trump, Trump will continue to act with disdain for the rule of law, as is his bent.

I may be very wrong and claim no legal expertise or even significant knowledge of US politics save as a lay-person. However, my view. is that the judge *is* providing excessive latitude for Trump, (almost certainly for the right reasons), and that this is *not* the way to go, regardless of possible outcomes.

It is my belief that as long as Trump is allowed to continue with his trash talk, direct attacks and demeaning of those he doesn't like and complete disregard for the law and the courts, then he effectively models such behaviour as acceptable for his supporters.

Surely, the 'high moral ground' in this whole sordid situation is on the side of those who abide by the. law and operate with fairness and dignity and respect for others. That is what needs to be modelled here if the US is not to decline into a society such as a developing world dictatorship where 'might is right' and 'power' is all that matters.

Trump ought to be jailed for any further penalty if that is, as I understand it is, permissible under the law.

No more metaphorical 'get out of jail' free cards. This man is an obnoxious blot on the US landscape and its reputation as a fair and just nation. He needs to be stopped - *now*.
