I have to agree with that. Indeed, I can't do other than bow to virtually all you've written.

The one thing I'd not so much disagree with as question, is that of 'inevitability' - not in relation to the invasion of Ukraine but of further expansionism.

My view is that if the World's lack of cohesive, collaborative and determined measures to reduce global warming doesn't result in the end of humanity and probably most species, then nuclear war will.

However, I am a simple person of no distinction or achievement so my view is probably of little, if any, value to anyone. I guess the only reason I put it out at all is with the aim that, in the unlikely event that there is anyone else who sees it as I do, it may give some small comfort that they are not completely alone in their despair at the insanity of humanity.
