Really enjoyed reading this & discovering someone of whom I'd had no knowledge at all - nor of the films. ... I don't know what that says about me.

I must also be naive, stupid or simply mentally dead but I don't understand why these songs, clearly appreciated by so many, are 'fake songs.'

Can someone, please without abuse but rather with compassion, enlighten me - I am in my 76th year, after all?
