Republicans are *not* more accepting than 'liberals'. On the contrary, they may appear to be so because they all subscribe to a closed-minded narrow, extremely skewed, self-serving, materialistic ideology that promotes elitism, acts to increase inequity and shows no compassion whatsoever for those in need or worse.

That is not "more accepting" at all. As I said, it is quite the contrary. Republicans dictate, seek to increase laws which penalise others for what doesn't suit them and oppose laws that would reduce inequality and inequity. The do so not on any rational or objective basis but from their ideological driven self-aggrandisement and belief that they 'know best'.

'Liberals', (which I keep inserting as a parenthesis because it is so often misused), ie. open-minded, thinking, caring, compassionate people who seek benefits for all and a more equitable society and world, by definition are *more accepting* because they are willing not only to allow but to promote and support and assist moves to promote a more open and considerate society where difference is seen as opportunity and equity more important than equality - if you can't see that yet, think about it.

So, as much as I might value your raising such an issue, no, I don't have to like it - because it isn't true.
