... something of a misleading statement when no time-line is given for a resolution in what is, with no doubt whatsoever, a time sensitive matter.

What's more, it is one that ought to be no-one else's business but that of Ms. Cox.

Courts, as I was taught to understand it, exist to provide justice and protect people from harm, intimidation, loss, trauma and such, committed by those who have no concern about committing it.

This decision and, indeed, the overturning of Roe v Wade and intervention of administrations and courts in what ought rightly to be personal choices of a girl or woman are wrong and obscene.

In no way do they protect anyone from unjust harm or trauma. The opposite is true, they increase it.

Why? They do so precisely for the reason that Lauren Elizabeth states or implies - the arrogant presumption that they, (the right wing politically ideological), know what is best for others, not only collectively but individually.

So called 'Right to Life' movements have always been hypocritical and their arguments justified by religious myth, flawed logic or personal views on what constitutes life. Rarely, if ever, however have they given thought or consideration to women who have conceived or any of the context around that or its implications for the future of the woman or her potential offspring.

A just society is not one that allows a minority of like-minded, misguided individuals to display their arrogance by acting as though they have the infinite wisdom or authority of 'God' or a god, for which in any case there is no evidence of existence and even in what is claimed as such, as much that is capricious or malicious as might be considered just.

The USA ought to wake up and restructure its policies and judicial system to rectify bad law and decisions by government - mostly male government at that. Until it does so, Lauren Elizabeth is right, such appalling decisions are likely to become the norm and many will suffer and even have their lives ruined - including offspring forced to be delivered. ☮️
