Thank you Gratiela, you are so right. There are two sides to the digital revolution's haven given us so much more access to so much more information. - Yes, it's great to give involvement to those who otherwise wouldn't have it but, by the same token, that expansion means much more chaff hiding the wheat. In other words, far from being easier to find good information it is actually harder, except perhaps for those skilled in doing so.

Every human being will have a limit to how much information they can consume, let alone absorb, understand an critically assess. The rampant existence now of so much misinformation and deliberate disinformation means that it is much harder for someone to know how valid is that to which they are exposed.

The saddest thing of all, about this, in my view, is that for every piece of rubbish that is consumed, there is one less space for taking in something of real value.

One can only take in so much - let it be what matters, (as you say) for otherwise we become conditioned morons.
