Thanks again for another entertaining rad. However, never mind the Mac - I have used Apple computers since the Apple II and still have a working Mac SE.

I have *never* regretted buying any Apple product, let alone any version of their computers, in any significant way.

I have been significantly disappointed only rarely and in recent years. My disappointments:

* Investing in purchasing, upgrading to and mastering Aperture 3 only to find it discontinued about 2 months later. The worst of the disappointment being its lack of decent replacement with Photos being sadly lacking. I didn't like being forced to Adobe, particular as they then did a similar thing and dropped the stand-alone version of Lightroom. - I hate subscription only purchase.

*Installing Ventura on my 2018 Mac Mini only to have so many problems that I can only describe it as a complete disaster that cost me time, money, convenience and much of what little sanity I had left because I was locked out of my Mini .... ugh

Despite finally getting my Mac Mini operational again but back with Monterey, I don't seem able to determine whether Ventura is now in full release or still a beta version. I have searched and searched but read contradictory statements all over the place, even on Mac forums.

So, much as I'd love to take advantage of what I keep on reading of as great new features, I am scared of attempting to upgrade again until I can afford a newer machine. Fortunately, despite it being an Intel based Mac, I ought still be able to recover a reasonable %age of what I paid for it as it has 256gb SSD and 32gb RAM and is in pristine condition.
