That is your choice, however your reason is not soundly based. Apple places a high priority on security and always has.

At least one of the major and most highly rated third party password managers has suffered a huge breach. I won't name them because I don't wish to put them down but it does negate your reasoning.

It is also significant that Apple has had a type of 'password management' for a long time in the Apple keychain.
