That 'truck' is atrocious and I doubt it can carry much. Indeed, given the angles, it probably won't fit anything larger than what would fit into a sedan boot. So, in terms of what appears to me to be just about the ugliest vehicle I've ever seen, I agree with your own view.

I also agree that cars tended to be much more interesting in the past. However, I can't say that any of those you praise pleases me all that much more than the Tesla Truck.

I've been a motor enthusiast since I was old enough to recognise a car but being born in Europe and, leaving aside the VW tin box and virtually every Mercedes ever built, cars there, particularly from Italy tend to excel in beauty and are matched only by some of the British classics and an occasional Japanese offering.

If beauty / class / quality is what one wants then here are just a few great examples:
