There is no evidence for any of the 18,000 gods that human beings have created and worshipped.
The absurdity of the argument that humans have "free will" and therefore they are to blame for all that is 'wrong' or 'bad' or 'harmful' is just complete nonsense. It has no validity whatsoever.
Either this 'God' exists and is omnipotent and created human beings or not. We don't know for it is only possible to prove the possible, not the impossible. It is therefore incumbent on those who believe in this improbability which has grown in it improbability as we have learned more through the millennia, to prove that a 'God' does exist. In all those millennia, not one person nor even the collective 'intelligence' of the massive groups of believers has produced one scrap of evidence which proves their claim. On the contrary, the reality is that what they have argued has become less valid by the year.
However, if there is such an entity as 'God', who is omnipotent and created the World and human beings (the latter being something we know to be false), then that entity 'God' can only be malignant for it does nothing, not only to prevent human perfidy but to prevent natural disaster and all other sickness, distress, poverty, cruelty and such in this World.
It is completely absurd and foolish to claim that human beings 'take every decision'. It is also completely ridiculous that an omnipotent being can be portrayed as being only responsible for 'good' (whatever that is) and human-beings responsible for all that is 'bad', or in your terms, I suspect 'evil'. This is even more the case when those who go through rituals of adoration for this mythical entity also claim that this 'God' created the 'Devil' and the 'Devil' and this 'Devil', for which again there is not one shred of evidence, evidently is reponsible for evil.
So convenient this faux arguments and justifications but they hold no water. All religions are about control and manipulation, they always have been and as long as there enough people who are gullible, ignorant or intellectually paucitive, the divisiveness and perfidy of religions will continue to do endless harm to humanity.
Take care. Stay safe. ☮️
