Yes, bad news or focus on negatives and failings is a turn-off for many. I have often been told by others that they choose not to watch the 'news' because it is constantly predominantly bad.

I can empathise with that feeling but not act similarly for, to me, it would be to 'bury one's head in the sand', as they say, only unlike the proverbial Ostrich which does no such thing.

I think that we must avoid apathy, regardless of its causes, for it only serves to entrench that which diminishes and uses us to serve the, (often devious and harmful), purposes of others.

I apologise to anyone who feels disturbed or upset by my voicing these issues or even to those who would remark that I'm telling them what they already know. I wish to harm or hurt no-one and I feel sure that many do not realise why and how they caused to suffer.

My view, clearly, is that to improve or remove bad and negative behaviour of whatever sort, one first must acknowledge it and preferably analyse its causes. That information then needs to be circulated so that apathy is combated and, with a touch of good fortune, there will be collective movement for change.

To say and do nothing is to accept and, in a sense, become complicit in the wrong. Yes, that's only my opinion; I don't claim that it is necessarily a better one than any other, regardless of what I may feel inside.

Take care. Stay safe. ☮️
