Yes, there is no doubt that what you have been saying has been a generalisation and a prejudiced one.

However, it is good to see that now, even more clearly, you have confirmed what I've argued all along, i.e. that "some" Russians may support Putin & his allies but far from all of them.

In addition, you now as good as admit that those who do have been conditioned or manipulated to do so.

I'm glad that you have finally accepted that one can't blame a whole nation for what it's 'leaders', 'controllers', 'dictators', 'demagogues' - call them what will - are actually responsible.

I certainly agree with you that all of us have an obligation, responsibility and accountability to the local societies in which we live and to the human society as a whole.

However, that does not make us all the same or each as complicit as others simply because we happen to have been born, live in or are part of a particular nation, ethnic group or even, ideology - though in the latter case it is far more likely.

I think, on that note, I have little or nothing more to say on this matter other than that I sincerely hope that Putin and others of his bent are stopped but that the Russian people, indeed the Russian nation, i.e. 'Russia' is not blamed in the way that the German people were after the 'Great War', for that will ensure a continuity of violence, aggression and even more conflict.
