You don't appear to understand the definition of hypocrisy. Additionally, you have taken one term out of context and ignored the whole.

Democracy refers to a system of government elected by the people. An authoritarian or even totalitarian government does not. However, any of those systems can operate in a compassionate and beneficent manner.

That democracies appear to be more likely to do so does not change that fact.

It is sad that you either can't see the hypocrisy of the USA and other western democracies or do see it but choose to put this question as 'devil's advocate' or for some other reason.

Hypocrisy occurs when a claim is made to particular standards or values but practice doesn't meet those standards.

Western democracies supposedly value human life, particularly that of children, and where force is used to respond to some violent or otherwise undesirable act, subscribe to the concept that it be proportionate, not excessive. They also quite readily claim to support human rights and the rule of law.

Those are just some of the supposed values and practices of western democracies yet all of them have been ignored or transgressed. In addition, language used in relation to this conflict and its reporting has been both biased and deficient in factual background and presentation.

Indeed, the western democracies that support Israel's inhumanity and breaches of International Humanitarian Law as well as the Genocide Convention, particularly whilst claiming that "Israel has a right to self defence", as though it is this in which it is engaged. It is not.
