You may be right but I wonder. How do you know that they "will talk about it later and expect me to return it". How do you know that "They aren't really kind or sincere."

I have had help I've offered rejected on numerous occasions yet have never wanted nor expected any reward, recompense, returned assistance or anything else.

If you really believe that "Kindness and compassion don't need any recognition or conditions..." the why do you apply them, for your statements clearly show that?
