Leaving aside your use of the cliche´"At the end of the day", I agree that seeking not to be limited by preconception is to be valued. However, it is not true that those who can't or don't do this will "learn nothing."
As for your own level of understanding: on the one hand you claim to be "not sure what a 'flat earth denialist' is" and yet, immediately afterwards claim to be "sure I are (sic) not one." - So, it seems that you are sure about not being something you profess not to be sure about. In addition, you end your rebuttal with a question implying that one of us is a "flat earth denialist."
This muddle and contradiction suggests that you are far from being someone who has any credibility for clear thinking, let alone making multiple absolute claims about this planet or the Universe. Indeed, your response, far from rebutting my own comment, actually lends credence to it.
